These pieces of craft are hand painted, and there are never two shells or two paintings the same, meaning each piece is totally unique and individual.

Working with the vibrant iridescent colours of the shell adds another layer of creativity, as it allows me to experiment with how the light and colours interacted with my paintings, almost as if they are part of an ethereal underwater world. The contrast between the painted creature and the luminous, reflective shell felt like a perfect metaphor for the beauty and mystery of the ocean, and I loved blending these elements together to create something that feels both realistic and dreamlike.
